We are looking for an Events Marketing Manager to join our events team, working across a diverse portfolio of premium conferences, awards and invitation-only receptions. This is a hands‑on, commercially‑focused role at the heart of a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial media business.

You will work closely with the Senior Events Marketing Manager and wider commercial and editorial teams to lead the marketing delivery for a portfolio of events, driving delegate attendance, award entries, sponsorship value and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities
Deliver high‑performing campaigns
  • Lead the delivery of marketing plans for a portfolio of events, with a clear focus on attendance, entries and revenue.
  • Plan, execute and optimise multi‑channel campaigns across email, social, web and partnerships.
  • Track performance and refine campaigns based on data and insight.
  • Stay on top of news and trends across media, politics and business to keep campaigns timely and relevant.
Campaign and channel management
  • Build and manage email marketing campaigns using HubSpot.
  • Segment and optimise databases to improve targeting and conversion.
  • Lead social media promotion, including writing and creating content.
  • Update and manage event websites and registration pages (WordPress).
  • Work with the commercial team to support the delivery of sponsorship and partnership agreements.
  • Build and manage relationships with associations and media partners.
  • Provide the delegate sales team with marketing assets and support to drive ticket sales.
Reporting and stakeholder management
  • Work cross-functionally with editorial, commercial and events colleagues.
  • Provide regular, structured updates on campaign progress and performance.
  • Maintain and contribute to the reporting and analytics framework across all channels.
  • Track KPIs to demonstrate marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Skills and experience
  • Around 3 years’ experience in event marketing, ideally across multiple brands or products.
  • Strong email marketing experience (HubSpot or similar).
  • Experience with audience segmentation and database management.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, including basic HTML.
  • Confident using Canva for marketing and social assets.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive, commercial and results‑driven mindset, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Company benefits
  • 25 days' holiday (plus bank holidays)
  • Additional days off for your birthday, health and well‑being day and volunteering day
  • Subscription to group publications and all other online content
  • Access to a discounted shopping program
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay
  • Enhanced company sick pay after probation
