Overview

Make Your Evenings Matter – Become an Evening Care Assistant! At Home Instead Swindon & Vale of White Horse, we’re on the lookout for kind-hearted, dependable individuals to join our amazing team as Evening Care Assistants. Whether you’re just starting out or have experience in care, we’ll give you all the support and training you need to succeed and shine. As an Evening Care Assistant, you’ll be there to make the evening's better for our clients. You will help our clients wind down their day with dignity, comfort, and kindness. Your hours will typically be 5pm - 9:45pm (though we can have a chat about this if the timings do not quite match what you can commit to).

Responsibilities
  • Helping with evening routines – from getting changed and washed, to creating a calm and comforting bedtime atmosphere
  • Preparing a warm evening meal and supporting with medication
  • Assisting with mobility and personal care to ensure safety and comfort
  • Offering genuine companionship – a chat, a smile, a reassuring presence
  • Keeping an eye on wellbeing and spotting any concerns early

  • £12.75 hour during the week and £13.50 per hour on the weekend

What we need from you

A genuine desire to care for and provide outstanding care and support for those you visit. You must be aged 18 or over and available to work an alternate weekend (both Saturday & Sunday). Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is also desired.
