Job description
Main Responsibilities
  • Supports the day-to-day management and execution of the company's fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assists in managing and coordination of drivers, preparing training schedules and materials, and supporting shift scheduling and resource optimization.
  • Assists in the acquisition, whether through purchase or lease, of company's vehicles, gathering data on vehicle needs, preparing documentation, and supporting the evaluation of vehicle options.
  • Supports the vehicle assignment process by ensuring data entry, processing assignment requests, and maintaining vehicle assignment records.
  • Supports the implementation of fleet policies for company car usage (e.g., mileage limitations, personal use, maintenance responsibilities) by providing administrative support, communicating policy updates, and assisting with policy compliance monitoring.
  • Assists with regular maintenance and repair of vehicles, scheduling routine maintenance, and tracking repair costs and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Supports the planning and optimization of transportation routes and schedules to optimize vehicle utilization and minimize costs.
  • Handles vehicle documents management, providing timely renewal of registrations and licenses, maintaining accurate vehicle files, and assisting with ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Keeps track of KPIs and metrics to measure fleet operations efficiency (e.g., vehicle downtime, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs), providing reports to management to support decision-making.
