Overview

This prestigious US heavyweight, is actively seeking 2 additional EU/Competition associates as part of their strategic plans for growth. The firm's International Competition team is expanding and seeking 2 talented associates to join their London office as Counsel. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to transactional antitrust matters and have proven experience collaborating directly with Corporate partners on transactional antitrust matters. At this level, you will be expected to work closely with multiple partners across a range of complementary workstreams and must be articulate and comfortable leading calls. The EU/UK competition law team advises leading financial institutions and multinationals in complex behavioural, state aid, multi-jurisdictional merger control, foreign investment/national security and litigation cases across industries globally. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team at the forefront of international competition law. You\'ll work on cutting-edge matters, collaborate with top-tier professionals, and contribute meaningfully to high-impact transactions.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to transactional antitrust matters as part of a team, including collaboration with Corporate partners on transactional antitrust workstreams.
  • Lead calls and coordinate across multiple partners to deliver integrated advisory and transactional support.
  • Engage with clients on complex competition matters across industries globally.
Qualifications
  • Experience in European Union/UK competition law with a focus on behavioural, state aid, multi-jurisdictional merger control, foreign investment/national security, and related litigation.
  • Previous exposure to clients in financial institutions, private equity/funds, tech/digital, and/or energy sectors is advantageous.
  • Foreign language skills and EU FSR experience are advantageous but not essential.
