Estimator / Senior Estimator

Due to expansion my client is looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join their team. They are looking for someone who is commercially focussed, detail driven and has experience working across a diverse portfolio of sectors. You would be pivotal to the contribution of winning work, maintaining profitability and delivering value for their clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents and drawings
• Prepare pricing documents and accurate cost estimates
• Assess and source subcontractors and supplier quotations
• Collaborate with managers/teams to ensure estimates align with project/client needs
• Attend site visits
• Ensure compliance with procedures and RICS regulations

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

Ideal candidate will have HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (preferred but not essential). Also have proven experience working within construction or related sector. Have strong knowledge of construction techniques and contract forms. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
