A leading furniture manufacturing company seeks an Estimator to join their team in Fakenham. You will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates and promoting bespoke high-end furniture. The ideal candidate should have experience in the bespoke furniture or joinery market and possess strong communication and numeracy skills. Competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 offered.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as an Estimator within the bespoke furniture or joinery market sector.
• Ideally will have some estimating experience; this can be trained.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Overview

Estimator - Joinery & Furniture role based in a commutable location to Fakenham. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000. The position involves promoting a manufactured range of bespoke high end furniture and joinery, and preparing detailed estimates for design, manufacture and installation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a manufactured range of bespoke high end furniture and joinery.
• Support the preparation of detailed estimates for the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke furniture.
• Act as the main point of contact for commercial enquiries internally and for clients.
• Produce detailed cost estimates that fulfil customer requirements.
• Prioritise own workload and communicate with other departments to ensure deadlines are met, in line with quality expectations.
• Attend project handover meetings to gain an in-depth understanding of projects.
• Identify, price and submit variations for approval.
• Project valuations and final account.
• Value work in progress and submit to clients.
