The Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the pre-construction team, producing accurate and competitive tenders and helping secure profitable work aligned with the company\'s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Carry out take-offs and build up pricing schedules
• Obtain, assess, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify and manage tender risks and opportunities
• Support value engineering and alternative proposals
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth tender-to-delivery handovers
• Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required
• Maintain pricing intelligence, benchmarking, and estimating records

What We\'re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of tendering, procurement, and pricing strategy
• Confident reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-driven approach
• Comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software (desirable)
