Qualifications

• Experience in the industrial door, automatic door, shutters, or gates industry.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to interpret engineer reports and drawings.
• Commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering accurate, profitable quotes.
• Confident use of job management, estimating, or scheduling software.
• A full UK driving license and willingness to attend customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for shutters, gates, automatic doors, and associated works.
• Reviewing engineer reports, surveys, and technical drawings.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams.
• Preparing weekly and monthly estimating and conversion reports.
• Reviewing estimating processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Job description

TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Estimator to work for one of the UK’s leading facilities companies supporting their team in Redditch

You will work closely with engineers, scheduling teams, customers and management to ensure quotations are prepared efficiently and in line with operational, technical and contractual requirements.

Salary

Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Your duties will be but not limited to

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for shutters, gates, automatic doors, and associated works.
• Reviewing engineer reports, surveys, and technical drawings to produce clear, competitive, and profitable quotations.
• Acting as a key point of contact for customers, engineers, and internal teams, providing regular updates and ensuring clarity throughout the quotation process.
• Working collaboratively with all teams to ensure quotations accurately reflect operational capabilities, lead times, and material requirements.
• Preparing weekly and monthly estimating and conversion reports, supporting the National Secure Manager with informed operational and commercial decision-making.
• Regularly reviewing estimating processes to identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall customer experience.
