Overview

Estimator / Senior Estimator

Due to expansion my client is looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join their team. They are looking for someone who is commercially focussed, detail driven and has experience working across a diverse portfolio of sectors. You would be pivotal to the contribution of winning work, maintaining profitability and delivering value for their clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documents and drawings
• Prepare pricing documents and accurate cost estimates
• Assess and source subcontractors and supplier quotations
• Collaborate with managers/teams to ensure estimates align with project/client needs
• Attend site visits
• Ensure compliance with procedures and RICS regulations

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have HNC / HND / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
• Also have proven experience working within construction or related sector.
• Have strong knowledge of construction techniques and contract forms.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
