We are recruiting for an Estates Maintenance Worker Specialist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The job role is busy and varied, working as part of the Mechanical team, as well as the rest of the maintenance team and managing your own workload. You will be required to liaise with people within your department and around the Trusts Sites.
The role will require attending maintenance requests, on call urgent call outs and weekly Planned Maintenance work orders.
As well as the monthly wage Estates Engineers are currently entitled to a recruitment and retention payment at £3277 pa.

You will be a technician with a mechanical or plumbing background and will carry out, with minimum supervision, maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant and equipment throughout East and North Herts NHS Trust Estate, to deputise for the Team Leader in their absence.
You will also provide technical engineering advice and support for the maintenance of equipment, fabric, and utility services for the trust.
You will be expected to commute between various hospital sites. A mileage allowance will be paid for this facility.
