Job description
Overview

To be responsible for all Trust grounds and gardens, litter picking on Trust premises, snow clearance and salt spreading as required.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the hospital site at Milton Keynes University Hospital (TeamMKUH) as part of the estates team.
  • From planting and pruning to mowing and seasonal displays, contribute to the overall appearance and functionality of the estate.
  • General grounds and gardens duties including litter picking on Trust premises, snow clearance and salt spreading as required.
Qualifications
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Experience of operating grounds maintenance machinery is desirable.
  • Experience of working on large site is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, ability to multi-task accurately under pressure, work with little direct supervision, and a flexible attitude to an ever-changing work environment.
  • Willingness to undertake manual work in all weather conditions and all physical tasks described in the Job Description.
