About the Role

Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can learn, grow, and progress in your career? We’re seeking an enthusiastic Estate Plumber’s Mate to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. Working closely with our Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the Estate’s heating and water infrastructure, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, wants to develop their skills, and is eager to take the next step in plumbing and heating.

What You’ll Do
  • Support engineers with leak repairs, including excavations to expose pipework.
  • Carry out groundworks such as excavation, shuttering, and casting small concrete slabs for oil tanks and boilers.
  • Assist with pipework alterations under supervision.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in pumphouses and reservoirs.
  • Make good walls and floors after works are completed.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
