Job summary

A local authority partner is seeking a Caretaker to ensure clean and safe communal areas within housing estates. This frontline role involves cleaning, minor repairs, and effective communication with residents. The ideal candidate should have experience in caretaking or cleaning, be physically able to manage outdoor duties, and be prepared to respond to emergencies. This position is for a 3-month contract with the potential for extension.

Qualifications

• Some experience in caretaking, cleaning, or similar duties.
• Physically able to carry out manual duties.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out caretaking and cleaning duties across estates.
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas and gardens.
• Undertake minor communal repairs.
• Report repairs, damage, and incidents.
• Maintain estate lighting and monitor facilities.
• Manage keys for communal areas and facilities.
