Job description

Would you like to become part of our Estates team as an Estate Assistant and support us in delivering an excellent service to our residents? This is a valuable opportunity for anyone who is a customer-focused team player.

We are pleased to offer a new position for an Estate Assistant to join our dedicated Estates team, serving the London area on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves working 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will provide high-quality grounds maintenance, gardening, and cleaning services across a varied portfolio of sites. Your responsibilities will include caring for lawns, shrubs, and plants, removing refuse, and maintaining internal communal areas in accordance with agreed standards, specifications, and timelines.

As the representative of Guinness onsite, you will foster positive relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues. You will ensure access is maintained, report repairs, fly tipping, graffiti, and raise any safeguarding concerns.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an individual who brings both practical experience in estate maintenance and a proactive, service-oriented approach. You will be expected to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance across a range of sites and garden types
  • Strong understanding of lawn, shrub, and plant care
  • A history of delivering excellent customer service
  • Physical capability to carry out tasks safely and effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH and PPE
  • A full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

Although not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture or equivalent (RHS, City & Guilds, HND)
  • PA1 and PA6 NPTC Certificates
