Overview

Vacancy – Warehouse Operative. We are recruiting a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our client’s warehousing team as the company continues to grow. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including picking, packing, loading, unloading, and stock control. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Location: Nailsworth. Hours: 08:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday. Start date: October 2025. Pay: £27,500 per annum. This is a permanent role.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming stock and materials.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
  • Machine setting and operating.
  • Use of measuring equipment.
  • Set and operate guillotine machine & vacuum packing machine.
  • Preparation and dispatch of samples.
  • Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Support other departments as needed to meet business demands.
  • I Ideally you will have previous warehouse experience.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Logistics experience.
  • Forklift experience or license (an advantage but not essential).
  • Good communication & telephone skills.
  • Good level of English and numeracy.
  • Stock management.
