A healthcare support organization based in Horley is seeking individuals to join their team focusing on service delivery for vulnerable communities. The role involves conducting health assessments, providing immunization, and promoting health. Successful candidates will gain invaluable experience in a multidisciplinary environment and support underserved populations. Mileage reimbursement is offered.
The post holder will be part of a team that focuses on delivering services for people who face additional barriers to accessing health care. You will be responsible for delivering a growing range of services such as health assessments, immunization, health checks, opportunistic wound dressings, health promotion and prevention of ill health. The aim is to reduce inequity for vulnerable cohorts and communities who haven't previously engaged with primary care.
Alliance for Better Care CIC is a GP Federation that unites 47 NHS GP practices across 12 Primary Care Networks in Sussex and Surrey. We support our Primary Care colleagues as well as their patients, to transform how healthcare is managed within the community. As a membership organisation, our focus is to work in partnership with our members and help them to improve the provision of General Practices in the local area. The role is offered on a full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (22.5 hours per week across regular days) basis and is funded until end January 2025. The role offers clinicians the opportunity to develop additional skills and experience working with vulnerable cohorts with multidisciplinary needs. Successful candidates might be offered further job opportunities at the end of the Covid program, working in our refugee and asylum seeker service and equity service. Mileage is reimbursed at the maximum rate of 45p per mile.
