  • Competitive salary up to £53,000 DOE, with surgical experience strongly favoured

An exciting opportunity awaits on the stunning North Devon coast, where a thriving independent practice is seeking an experienced equine vet to join and complement its dedicated team.

Established, eight‑vet, fully equipped equine theatre and excellent inpatient facilities underpin a practice renowned for exceptional client care. The team values strong community relationships, clinical excellence, and a supportive, collaborative working environment. While much of the work is ambulatory, the successful candidate will enjoy full access to a modern clinic for in‑depth diagnostics and treatment. Opportunities to work alongside certificate holders in Equine Practice, Medicine and Imaging, as well as visiting surgeons, advanced dentistry specialists and longstanding stud experts actively encourage case continuity, with further study fully supported to promote both professional development and job satisfaction.

The practice offers both first‑opinion and referral services, with an impressive range of equipment including a fully equipped operating theatre, inpatient facilities, video endoscopy and gastroscopy, digital radiography, high‑quality ultrasound and arthroscopic “key‑hole” surgery. It is also a BEVA‑accredited AI centre and provides advanced and routine dentistry services.

Vets are supported by a dedicated team of equine nurses and technicians who provide round‑the‑clock assistance both in the clinic and on the road. An exceptional administrative and support team ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations and helps create a positive, well‑organised working environment.
