A regional healthcare provider in Stockport is looking for a leader to oversee the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide EPR system. This role requires skills in communication, organisation, and governance, as well as experience in digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will work with key stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and integration of the system. Benefits include annual leave, NHS pension membership, and various salary sacrifice schemes.
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who is dedicated to working as part of our team to lead the development and implementation of the joint enterprise-wide EPR system across Stockport NHS Foundation Trust (SFT) and Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (TGICFT). The joint EPR will provide a single, structured, real-time healthcare record with role-based configurable views. This is a key priority for both Trusts and central to the delivery of their Digital Strategies. Working in partnership with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams across the two Trusts and the ICB, you will oversee the development and approval of the joint Full Business Case (FBC) and build the organisational readiness and appropriate conditions that will enable a smooth transition of the transformational change from programme to business as usual. This role will lead the stakeholders from both trusts and the ICB to the completion of the full business case, including the implementation of the procurement governance, and contract negotiation coordination. They will work in partnership to ensure the delivery of preparation activities, such as data migration strategies, in the run up to full implementation. You will be responsible for standing up and leading the programme team and governance ahead of, and through, implementation.
We hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers. We believe that the best organisations are those that reflect the communities they serve. We are therefore seeking to improve the diversity of our workforce to make it truly representative of our local population.
