Overview

Do you have a passion for supporting people living with epilepsy, their Carers and families? Do you want to be apart of making a difference to people’s daily lives? If so we have an excellent opportunity for you to be apart of our Quarriers Epilepsy Outreach service!

Your new opportunity

Quarriers Epilepsy outreach service is currently recruiting for a full time Epilepsy Community Outreach Worker across in North Aberdeenshire. The successful candidate will work closely with people who are living with epilepsy as well as their friends and families, providing daily support on an individual basis.

You will be required to create a clinical liaison service with identified epilepsy clinics & GP practices, as well as care managers and key workers in the area and monitor primary and community care services, with the aim of raising standards of health and social care for people living with epilepsy.

This full time (37 hours) temporary role until at least April 2026 and will be based within the North Aberdeenshire area. It will involve some travel around Aberdeenshire and beyond with paid expenses.

You will work from home with the support of a small team of motivated and knowledgeable professionals and will have access to office space. This role involves general office hours with occasional evenings and some weekend work where required.

Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

This is a funded post which we have provided for the last 4 years, we believe this role should be extended past April 2026.
