A leading defence organisation in Stevenage is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer to support design and surveillance activities within their product portfolio. This role involves solving technically challenging problems in a hybrid working environment. Candidates should have a background in engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with measurement equipment. Offering a competitive salary around £50,000 and various perks including a performance-based bonus.
MBDA has a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a UKAS/ISO 17025 environmental test laboratory on a variety of projects that will stretch your skills and imagination as an engineer.
Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship (delete line if not applicable).
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

Joining the Environmental Engineering and Facilities team, you will support design and In Service Surveillance activities across MBDA's product portfolio. You will work on multiple projects, applying your expertise to solve technically challenging problems, and perform environmental testing under conditions including temperature, humidity, shock, and vibration.
