Are you an experienced Environmental professional with a background in construction and a passion for hands‑on work? Are you looking for your next contract position?

Location: Suffolk
Rate: £350 a day umbrella
Contract length: 6 months with likely extensions

Role and Responsibilities

You're expected to play a key part in the Sizewell rail scheme—a major infrastructure project focused on delivering construction works more sustainably. As the new Environmental Advisor, you'll be based full‑time on‑site, acting as a crucial point of contact for all environmental matters. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with environmental permits
• Performing noise and dust monitoring
• Co‑ordinating with supervisors and attending daily meetings to report observations and resolve environmental issues
• Collecting data for monthly sustainability reports on water, energy, and plant usage

Benefit package: To ensure easy access to the various work locations, a minibus service is provided to transport you between the main office and the different sites, all of which are within a short drive.

Employment Type

This is a full‑time, 6‑month contract role with the potential for extension as the project progresses. You'll be on‑site to support the team's environmental commitments.
