Overview

Role: Environmental Manager

Location: Leeds

Duration: 6 Months

Purpose: The role will lead on the necessary environmental support and coordination across the project whilst ensuring performance against business objectives on a variety of environmental management criteria.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead on the development and implementation of environmental processes and systems within the project
  • Help the supply chain to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement in environmental & sustainable construction management
  • Be a recognised expert and trusted advocate for environmental management across the project
  • Lead and support the existing team of environmental professionals within the project to ensure coordination and collaboration across the different areas of the project
  • Provide visible environmental engagement and support across the project and its supply chain
  • Help deliver the Offshore Environment & Sustainability portfolio strategy
  • Be part of a high performing team that builds a reputation for professionalism, objectivity, integrity and delivery of results
  • Work with the Lead Sustainability and Environmental Specialist to provide monthly performance reports for environmental incidents and inspections and wider sustainability performance
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability and confidence to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Capability to engage and inform internal and external stakeholders in positive, constructive ways
  • A drive and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and experience of change management
  • Current driving licence (as the role will require travel both within England and Scotland)
