Job description

Environmental Crime Officer (RP0138) starting salary £41,992pa with progression to £45,089pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service (inclusive of outer fringe allowance) 37 hours per week (hybrid working).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Environmental Health Manager in proactive and reactive enforcement related to environmental crime, filthy and verminous properties negatively impacting on local amenity, illegal encampments, fly grazing, vehicle and related enforcement functions.
  • Have managerial responsibility for 3 street wardens and the delivery of the work programme.
  • Work in collaboration with other services, and senior management to ensure services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives.
