Job summary

A leading contractor in the field is seeking an Environmental Advisor to oversee compliance across key sites in a flexible role. Want a flexible, regional role where you can make a real impact on environmental performance?

We're supporting a reputable Principal Contractor delivering major Rail and Civil Engineering schemes across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. With a healthy programme of secured work and an established delivery team, they re looking for an Environmental Advisor to lead compliance across key sites.

This is a regional position with flexibility, you ll split your time between site visits, the local office and working from home.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead environmental compliance and regulatory engagement for the region
  • Manage consents, permits, and environmental documentation
  • Monitor environmental performance (carbon, noise, water, vibration, waste)
  • Conduct audits and support continual improvement initiatives
  • Support incident investigation and reporting
  • Deliver environmental briefings and awareness sessions
  • Track environmental KPIs and produce reports
