We are growing and are looking for an Enterprise Architect (m/w/d) to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and governing our enterprise-wide IT architecture, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Job Responsibilities

As a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will collaborate closely with business applications, infrastructure, and network leads to drive the design and implementation of IT solutions that support Hexagon’s strategic goals. Main responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural governance boards for both our Excelsior S/4HANA transformation program and business as usual activity. This will include chairing our design authority and change board meetings within the Excelsior programme alongside owning our regular Architecture Review Board
• Developing and maintaining enterprise-wide architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards
• Collaborating with senior stakeholders across regions and functions to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Providing expert guidance on SAP S/4HANA and related technologies to support successful program delivery
• Influencing and leading through collaboration without direct reports, fostering alignment across multiple teams and external partners
• Supporting ongoing IT modernization initiatives and contributing to the growth of the architecture function within Hexagon
• Preparing clear, concise communications and materials for executive-level stakeholders and governance forums
• Ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout solution delivery
• Co-managing architecture repositories such as the Technical Debt Register, Architecture Decision Log, Application Portfolio, and Integration Catalogues.
• Promoting best practices in documenting technology investments using tools like RAID logs and architecture metamodels such as TOGAF or Archimate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Over 12 years of overall experience in IT solution delivery
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, Domain Architect, or Business Architect
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ecosystem is essential
• Proven ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders without direct reports
• Experience running governance boards, preferably within large-scale IT transformation programs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely to senior leadership
• Demonstrated resilience and capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
