Are you an Enrolled Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and dynamic team environment?
Ward 5D is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our inpatient oncology unit. In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and the broader multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and the coordinated delivery of services to our admitted patients.
As a valued member of our team, you will also have the opportunity to actively engage in teaching, quality improvement initiatives, and practice-based research—helping to shape and elevate the standard of care we provide.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. It provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Permanent part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing on a mutually agreed date. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.
Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Salary Packaging
You’ll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
