Job description

A n English Teacher is required for a goood secondary school in Sunderland area. This role requires teaching English to Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full time English Teacher role which will begin in January 2026 and last for rouhgly until the end of the academic year in July. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

Ideal Candidate

• Have good classroom management skills
• Have a passion for teaching English
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to plan effective, engaging English lessons.

We are keen to hear from both experienced 'Subject' teachers or ECTs.
