Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for a English, Maths and Science Tutor to support students across the Greater Manchester area.

You will be working with students across the Greater Manchester area, supporting them with their learning while they are out of mainstream education. These students may have SEN needs or be Looked After Children, so a caring and patient approach is essential.

The position is open to both ECT's and experienced tutors/teachers.

Contract Details

• Location - Oldham
• Position - English, Maths and Science Tutor
• Contract or position start date - ASAP
• Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
• Full time/part time - Part Time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP25 per hour
• Hours - Flexible hours are available, but sessions must take place within school hours

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year Tutoring experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

To be Eligible

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
