Responsibilities
  • Deliver GCSE and functional skills English curriculum to 16‑18 and adult learners.
  • Create inspiring, carefully sequenced lessons for diverse student groups across campuses, daytime and evening hours.
  • Implement up‑to‑date teaching and learning pedagogy in classroom and online media.
  • Adapt curriculum and assessment to meet diverse learner needs, ensuring progress.
  • Collaborate with English and maths coordinators and Head of English and maths to advance curriculum.
Qualifications
  • Related degree and full teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS).
  • Experience teaching in FE or school sector; newly qualified teachers welcome.
  • Experience GCSE delivery and curriculum design.
  • Strong vision and capability to adapt teaching methods and assessment.
