A leading blue chip food company in Ballymena is looking for an Engineering Technician for a temporary role. You will optimize production machinery performance and perform routine maintenance. Ideal candidates should have at least 3 years' experience post-apprenticeship and electrical qualifications. The role includes a shift pattern of 41.5 hours per week. Engineering Technician – Temporary approx. 6 months (Pennybridge)
(Multi-Skilled Electrically Biased, Shift Position)
As an integral part of the multi skilled engineering team, your responsibility will be to optimise the performance of automated production filling and packing machinery and ancillary services. Working closely with production colleagues you will ensure that equipment is properly set and maintained; monitoring performance and carrying out fault diagnosis and running adjustments/repairs as necessary in a fast paced fresh milk production environment.

41.5hr per week on 8-week rota cycle, working 6 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights split out over the cycle (normally 4 x 12hr days in row with exception of one week at 5 days that includes a 9hr Saturday). Nights are 5 x 9hrs in a row.
