A leading food and beverage company in the UK is seeking an Engineering Technician for its Tutbury factory. This role, which requires a strong background in FMCG manufacturing, involves performing maintenance tasks, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will have at least NVQ level 3 in Engineering practices and will be essential in maximizing production capacity within the Coffee Packaging department. Working pattern: 12-hour shifts, 3 days on 3 days off – Days only, no night shifts.
Salary: £52,074.05 inclusive of contractual overtime.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented, driven individual to join our Nestlé Coffee business within our Factory as an Engineering Technician, reporting directly to a day’s Maintenance Engineer in the Coffee Packaging department.
This role is a key role for the department; being a shift-based role covering all areas within the Coffee Packaging department.
The Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after circa £500 million investment over the last few years. It is also the home of Nescafe and Dolce Gusto in the UK producing a range of beverage products. These are produced through a highly automated PLC controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines.
The factory is a Centre of excellence for Nescafé products around the world producing freeze-dried, spray dried and pod coffee technologies and is at the forefront of coffee innovation globally.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced engineer or technician, ideally with a strong background in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
