Job description
Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join a long-term earthworks and civil engineering package based in Woking. This is a 50-week programme on a high-profile infrastructure project, offering long-term stability and a competitive day rate.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting accurate setting out and surveying for large-scale earthworks operations
  • Managing survey control across the site
  • Performing topographical and volumetric surveys
  • Producing as-built drawings and maintaining accurate survey records
  • Supporting the engineering and site management teams with technical input
  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications and tolerances
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Surveyor role within earthworks or civil engineering
  • Strong knowledge of GPS and Total Station equipment (Trimble/Leica preferred)
  • Proficiency in survey software (AutoCAD, LSS, etc.)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively on-site
Additional Info
  • Day rate negotiable based on experience
  • Outside IR35 considered
