An established engineering services provider is seeking an Engineering Surveyor to conduct statutory examinations and inspections of plant and machinery. This home-based role involves client interaction, requiring a background in engineering with at least five years of experience. Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £38,000 – £40,000, dependent on experience
NXT Recruitment is supporting an established engineering services provider as they look to appoint an Engineering Surveyor to join their expanding team. This is a varied, client-facing role offering the opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors, carrying out statutory examinations of plant and machinery in line with current health and safety legislation.
The role is home-based, with travel to client sites, and offers a strong balance between independence and structured support through internal scheduling and planning.
Reporting to senior operations leadership, you will fogy responsibility for completing thorough statutory inspections and examinations, ensuring clients remain compliant with relevant regulations. Quality and accuracy are prioritised, allowing time to complete detailed inspections and reporting.
Please note, this role is physically demanding and may involve lifting, climbing, working at height, confined spaces, and exposure to varying environmental conditions.
