A leading technology services provider is seeking a Traffic Maintenance (Engineering) Supervisor to lead a team of Engineers responsible for maintenance contracts. Our Field teams are critical in the delivery of our contracts, whether that is delivering or supervising maintenance, installation, cabling or civils works. Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24 / 7.

Reporting into the Regional Manager, the Traffic Maintenance (Engineering) Supervisor will lead a small team of Engineers who are responsible for delivering our maintenance contracts with Newcastle Council.

This role require travel in the North East (Newcastle and surrounding areas) on a daily basis.

What you'll do :
  • Lead a small team of Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineers
  • Manage controller builds and liaising with engineering team on configurations
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining test rigs
  • Technical lead in the depo, coordinating new technologies before they go to street
  • Provide support to the Contract Managers to ensure that the contracts are delivering on time and within budget
  • Working alone and with colleagues to the highest standards to maintain signals equipment
  • To reduce the overall fault rates within our traffic signals maintenance contracts
