Overview

Engineering Shift Team Leader
Location: Tewkesbury Depot
Shift Pattern: Week 1: Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00 | Week 2: Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineering Shift Team Leader to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on role, leading and mentoring a team of Engineers to ensure the smooth running of production and distribution operations.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train and support Engineers and Apprentices
  • Lead planned preventative maintenance across the site
  • Carry out electrical/mechanical repairs and testing
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on high-speed automated machinery
  • Ensure compliance records and departmental paperwork are accurate
  • Deputise for the Engineering Manager when required
  • Participate in call-out rota for breakdowns

  • Electrical apprenticeship qualification - essential
  • Proven experience with high-speed automated machinery in production
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills
  • Previous supervisory/team leader experience
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and leadership skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a high standard of workmanship
