Job summary

A leading energy solutions provider in Birmingham is seeking a Project Manager, Engineering to oversee design coordination and project execution. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the electricity supply industry and hold an HNC/HND in electrical engineering. This role requires strong teamwork and analytical skills, alongside the ability to manage engineering budgets and coordinate design teams. Candidates must be capable of delivering under tight timelines and have knowledge of transmission and distribution practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the Electricity supply industry.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV).
• Ability to work to tight time scales.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design team across all disciplines.
• Liaise with project management on engineering budgets.
• Manage the program and interface with planning engineers.
• Approve documentation per project requirements.
• Coordinate and chair design reviews and hazard reviews.
