gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Engineering Manager to work at their facility based near Welwyn Garden City.

As Engineering Manager you will not only lead a team of engineers to provide support for all aspects of the NPI and manufacturing process, identifying opportunities for improvement and defining, implementing and monitoring 'Best Practice' methods, but you will also be part of the Senior Management Team.

Performance Objectives

• Accountable for Engineering functions (Manufacturing, Liaison, Tooling, Projects) and direct reports supporting day to day activities as required including appraisals, training and succession planning within the team.
• Assist the commercial team with new business requests and will also serve as the technical lead for all operational capital investments. The role will also support the manufacturing operations for improving production process targeting quality and efficiency savings
• Lead the Engineering function to deliver products on time, within budget and at the required level of quality and manage change to drive through improvements.
