Engineering Manager

Description

At CFC, we’re transforming insurance by doing things differently. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead talented teams to deliver innovative technical solutions that drive our product roadmap forward. You’ll manage complex projects end-to-end, collaborating with Product, Agile, and Design teams to turn ambitious ideas into reality. Your leadership will ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions, while fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and psychological safety.

About the role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and project management.
  • Owning project delivery, from ambiguous requirements to iterative solutions.
  • Ensuring robust observability, incident response, and technical debt management.
  • Promoting automation, testing, and continuous integration for system reliability.
  • Collaborating across teams to align on strategy and deliver results that matter.
  • Recruiting, coaching, and developing engineers, championing a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Actively engaging with the wider engineering community to elevate CFC’s profile and attract top talent,
