Job description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Issue and comply with equipment, department and room maintenance schedules. Use of CMMS system (Maximo) to execute and complete work orders.
• Work on a variety of plant and equipment within different functions across the KSP site to include:
• Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns
• Fault diagnosis and rectification of mechanical problems
• Working collaboratively with other disciplines to problem solve
• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPMs)
• Minor building repairs as required to include such things as ceiling tiles, painting damaged walls, tap washers etc.
• Provide mechanical support for the API, Commercial Filling and Packaging Operation at KSP
• Involved in 6s and operational excellence (OE) continuous improvement for engineering areas/activities
• Ensure that all equipment safety testing such as pressure/pressure relief is kept current and certified.
• Provide operator training and technical support where necessary.
• Provide and keep up to date SOP's for the Engineering department
• Service and respond to maintenance requests while maintaining compliance with equipment validation
• As part of a team, take part in the installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ) of new plant and equipment. Support project teams in FAT/ SAT as required for new equipment.
• Create SOPs, internal service reports and machine setting sheets for new equipment and update existing as required.
• Issue permits to Jazz and contractor staff and provide contractor supervision when required.
• Carries out their work in a way that will not adversely affect their own, or others', health, safety and security or the environment and reports any issues immediately including near misses or incidents
• Compliance in all aspects of GMP, health and safety and environmental standards
• Updates and reads risk assessments in Mirashare.
• Support investigations (safety/ quality) as required by providing SME input.
• Use of CMMS system (Maximo) to execute and complete work orders.
