Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer

My client is seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Watford. You will be part of a highly respected consultancy delivering a wide range of ground engineering projects across the infrastructure, renewable energy, and marine sectors. This position offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while developing your skills within an experienced and supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing detailed geotechnical reports, including Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations
  • Supervising ground investigations and coordinating daily site activities
  • Conducting geohazard assessments and supporting ground risk evaluations
  • Reviewing laboratory and in-situ test data
  • Contributing to geotechnical design, including foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, and offshore elements
  • Assisting with design inputs for onshore and offshore structures
  • Providing guidance to graduate engineers and liaising directly with clients and project teams
