A healthcare provider in the UK seeks a permanent support role. Responsibilities include handling instruments, maintaining security, and responding to customer requirements. The position requires a full clean driving licence and offers in-house training. Benefits include access to the NHS Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday, and a generous relocation package. The support role is permanent 37.5 hours per week working shifts between 07:00 hours to 22:00 hours per week. This will take the form of a two-shift system covering weekdays and weekends.
Successful candidates will require an eagerness and ability to learn along with a good level of fitness. The role is physically demanding, lifting and handling medical devices. It also requires the ability to drive a Luton tail‑lift van to off‑site facilities. Comprehensive in‑house training will be delivered which successful candidates are expected to complete. The department is compliant with ISO 13485 Quality Management System. Previous experience working with a quality system or in the decontamination is desirable but not essential. Please note: the successful candidate will be required to drive a tail‑lift Luton van, so a full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
The Trust offers a generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k) to support with relocation expenses for hard to fill positions where relocation would be an expectation to undertake the role fully.
