More detail about the role The unit provides a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and strives to provide exceptional levels of patient care in order to meet the expanding needs of the local community. We see around 200 patients per week, which includes an out of hours service for upper GI bleeds. You will be expected to partake in the out of hours rota. In order to arrive in theatres to attend the upper GI bleed emergencies, you will need to live within a 30‑minute travel radius (however, on‑call rooms can be arranged given enough notice). Endoscopy experience is desirable but not essential as training is provided. Working Pattern: Up to 37.5 hours per week (minimum of 30 hours per week). Interview Date: 29 January 2026.
