A leading disability charity in Southend-on-Sea is seeking an Enabling Support Worker to provide personalized support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. The role requires maintaining accurate records and may involve personal care. Employees enjoy benefits such as a £500 probation bonus, generous annual leave, and excellent training opportunities. Please note this role does not qualify for visa sponsorship, as the salary requirements set by the Home Office are not satisfied.
As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
If there is a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
Kenway Court is a residential, community-focused care home in Southend-on-Sea. The service supports people with intellectual and physical disabilities. People who live at Kenway Court have wide individual choice, with active support from staff. Our service offers nursing support to those with complex needs.
