Overview

Our client, a leading legal firm based in the Northamptonshire area, are looking to recruit an NQ Solicitor onto their Employment team.

This role is for a newly qualified solicitor but they will consider PQE levels higher than this. You are required to be a qualified Solicitor for this position.

Responsibilities

• You will handle your own caseload from instruction to completion.
• The caseload will include both contentious and non-contentious work for a diverse client base.
• Matters include, but are not limited to: assisting with Modern Slavery Act compliance; playing an integral advisory role with a variety of projects (including restructuring, changing terms and conditions of employment, and large-scale redundancy exercises); providing strategic advice in connection with Boardroom/SMT disputes; providing ad hoc advice on operational HR matters; assisting with data protection compliance; and representing clients in employment tribunals.
