A reputable law firm in the UK is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their remote team. Offering a base salary of £65k FTE plus uncapped OTE, the ideal candidate should have over 5 years PQE, strong organisational skills, and be confident in managing a mixed caseload. Key responsibilities include providing expert advice on employment matters and handling potential cases for Employment Tribunals. Flexible hours from Monday to Friday are available.

• 5 years plus of post-qualification experience in law.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert employment advice to various stakeholders.
• Handle cases that may progress to Employment Tribunals.

We’re supporting a reputable law firm who are looking to welcome an Employment Solicitor to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on high-quality matters., with the full freedom and flexibility of working from home. You will provide expert employment advice to employees, employers, executives, SMEs, and trade unions on a wide range of issues.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

• Strong organisational skills and the ability provide expert advice on a number of matters
• Ability to manage own caseload
• 5 years + PQE
• Open to various levels including Associates, Senior Associates, Directors, and Partners
• Experience in contentious or mixed contentious/non-contentious employment work
• Happy to work with a mixed caseload of both claimant and respondent
• Confident, motivated solicitors who enjoy autonomy and challenging matters
• UK-based, able to work fully remotely

Within this position, you’ll also be:

• Assisting clients delivering a professional service on a wide range of issues including but not limited to:
  • Settlement agreements
  • Redundancy and restructures
  • Unfair dismissal
  • Discrimination
  • Disciplinary procedures and grievances
• Handling cases that may progress to Employment Tribunals

Salary and Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday – hours to suit the employee
• £65k FTE base plus uncapped OTE
• Must be able to commit to 15 – 25 hours per week
