Job summary

A reputable law firm is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join its team with the flexibility of working from home. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years PQE, providing expert advice on a variety of employment matters, including unfair dismissal and discrimination. This position allows for personal caseload management and offers a competitive salary of £65k FTE base plus uncapped OTE. The role requires a commitment of 15 to 25 hours per week, ensuring a work-life balance for dedicated professionals.

We’re supporting a reputable law firm looking to welcome an Employment Solicitor to their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on high‑quality matters, with the full freedom and flexibility of working from home. You will provide expert employment advice to employees, employers, executives, SMEs, and trade unions on a wide range of issues.

Essential Qualifications
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to provide expert advice on a number of matters
  • Ability to manage own caseload
  • 5 years + PQE
  • Open to various levels including Associates, Senior Associates, Directors, and Partners
  • Experience in contentious or mixed contentious / non‑contentious employment work
  • Happy to work with a mixed caseload of both claimant and respondent
  • Confident, motivated solicitors who enjoy autonomy and challenging matters
  • UK‑based, able to work fully remotely
Responsibilities
  • Assisting clients delivering a professional service on a wide range of issues including but not limited to:
  • Settlement agreements
  • Redundancy and restructures
  • Unfair dismissal
  • Discrimination
  • Disciplinary procedures and grievances
  • Handling cases that may progress to Employment Tribunals
  • Salary and Hours of Work

Monday to Friday – hours to suit the employee

65k FTE base plus uncapped OTE

Must be able to commit to 15 – 25 hours per week
