Employment Solicitor - Industrial Disease (NQ-3 PQE)

📍 Location: Windsor, SL4 6BB

💼 Contract: Full-time, permanent

💰 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Employment Solicitor to join our clients Windsor office, providing a first‑class service to private clients in the area of Industrial Disease. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working closely with Partners and Senior Solicitors on complex and high‑value matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own employment law caseload, acting for claimants in both litigated and non‑litigated matters.
  • Handle a variety of cases, including Settlement Agreements.
  • Provide legal advice to Union Officers via the Advice Line as required.
  • Adhere to procedural and funding guideline time limits, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Support Partners and Senior Solicitors in delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
  • Develop an understanding of financial file management including WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability, and work to meet or exceed set targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards while maintaining the highest quality of service.
  • Undertake other relevant duties as allocated by Management.
About You
  • Valid, clean Practising Certificate.
  • NQ-3 years PQE with exposure to employment litigation and a varied caseload.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent client care skills with the ability to communicate sensitively and confidentially with private clients and Trade Union members.
  • Demonstrates initiative, sound problem‑solving ability, and professional judgment.
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Commercial awareness and commitment to service quality.
  • Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office and case management software.
