Job description

Exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join a leading regional law firm based in Plymouth. The role offers flexible or hybrid working options. Responsibilities:

1. Provide sound and commercially minded employment advice across a diverse client base, including central government, manufacturing, retail, and media organizations.
2. Manage your own caseload while supporting partner leads in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
3. Advise on equalities obligations, internal disciplinary processes, TUPE processes, and support business development and training on employment issues.
4. Handle contentious and non-contentious employment matters, manage ET claims, and advise on employer relations and restructures.
5. Deliver practical, high-quality solutions to clients and demonstrate passion for the sector.
6. Be driven, determined, and ambitious to excel within the firm.
7. Advocacy experience is advantageous but not essential.
