Job summary

A leading law firm in Liverpool is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor to manage complex Employment Tribunal claims and provide legal advice to key clients. The role requires a qualified solicitor with over 5 years of experience, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a keen interest in advocacy. About your new role

Our market leading Employment, Pensions and Immigration team advises employers across the UK on all aspects of employment, pensions and immigration law. Our clients are some of the UK's largest and best known employers. We believe that the quality of our clients and strength of our relationships with our clients speaks volumes about the quality of the service we provide.

The candidate will be based at our Liverpool office.

As a Senior Solicitor you will:
  • Manage a mixed caseload of complex Employment Tribunal claims;
  • Complete multi-day hearings in the Employment Tribunal;
  • Provide employment law advice to key clients;
  • Supervise more junior members of the team and oversee their cases from a strategic perspective;
  • Assist with business development initiatives including training and networking;
  • Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs;
  • Produce monthly and ad-hoc client MI reports;
  • Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values and procedures; and
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets.
