Job title: Employment NQ Solicitor
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: £45,000-£55,000
PQE Level: NQ-3 PQE
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Full-time

Our client is a forward-thinking regional law firm specialising in employment law. Based in Oxfordshire, the Employment & Litigation team blends supportive mentorship with high-quality work and varied case exposure.

The Role
As a newly qualified solicitor, you will:

• Advise clients on day-to-day employment matters: contracts, policies, TUPE and restructuring
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, redundancy packages and compromise agreements
• Represent claimants and respondents at employment tribunals, mediations and preliminary hearings
• Handle commercial contract work: shareholder agreements, service terms and dispute resolution
• Ensure compliance with AML, GDPR and professional conduct requirements
• Manage budgets, track Work in Progress (WIP) and invoice accurately

About You:

• Qualified solicitor (NQ) with strong employment law interest
• Excellent organisational skills: able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
• Confident communicator, building rapport with clients, counsel and colleagues
• Commercially astute: mindful of costs, profitability and practical solutions
• Team-oriented, yet able to manage your own caseload independently
